Teaching is a tough gig! It is not for the weak or faint of heart! And it is definitely not for that one person who cares about their work but has no idea how to effectively run a classroom!
With teacher shortages all over the world, we need programs that don’t just equip our newest and most eager candidates with theory. We need doable strategies that drive student success! We need every classroom teacher to have a toolkit that ensures that every day in their classroom is the best it can be!
I get asked by new teachers all the time how to develop the skills needed to be on the road to success within their 1st year of teaching. That’s because not only have I been in education for the past 28 years, but I have also developed my own skills, learned from some of the best, and coached an endless number of dynamic teachers that are now successfully having an impact on the lives of their students.
I am so excited to be partnering with my own daughter who not only spent her entire life learning teaching strategies from me and my network of teacher friends but has just completed her 6th year of teaching and is moving into a role to support both students and teachers to success.
For the first time, we are going to be teaching a small, select group of teachers how to teach like a rockstar, so you too, can be on a path of teaching success, staying motivated, empowered, and balanced while having an impact on the world of education.
The Teaching Profession Needs GREAT Teachers!
It takes schools at least one year to build and grow new teachers to just get to a level of proficiency. And although college programs cover a lot of theory, these programs do not give you the opportunity to experience real life application. Teach Like a Rockstar, provides teachers with monthly training and support to ensure they will effectively run their classroom, build relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and stay committed to continue in the teaching profession.

What Should Our Students Expect?
Our students will not only participate in self-paced, online learning, but have opportunities to connect during monthly group coaching calls. Each month's learning will include application materials so every student will be able to apply their new strategies immediately in their classrooms.
Our goal is to have 100% of our students who follow our plan and use our materials experience their best first year, secure a proficient evaluation, and have an offer to continue their employment for the following school year!
Testimonials
At times, I felt my quirky and socially awkward self wasn’t cut out for the world of education. Thank you for helping me realize I was mistaken. l walked into your school feeling invisible and thanks to you, I found a school where I could grow and become the teacher I am today! I don’t think it was a coincidence and I am grateful we crossed paths. Thank you for not only hiring me, but accepting me for who I am and who I grew to become!

If you are looking for a coach who can help you with your life aspirations...Cheri is your coach! I was fortunate to have her as my principal for 6 years. She gave me the opportunity to see what I could accomplish even when I didn't know what I was capable of. The journey began as a brand new second career teacher to AVID/GT certification/Team leader of our 5th grade team (with my confidence building every year)! In the next few years, I will be continuing with my masters' degree! She is the real deal, sets clearly defined goals with you, and provides positive feedback.
